Well done to all involved in the organisation of the Race Night! All who went would agree that it was a great success. There were 8 races, the last of which was the subject of an enjoyable scramble auction to buy classic horses at knock-down prices…

The club dinner is on this year on Saturday 27th March. This is the biggest club social of the year and looks like being a night of major celebration for the club this year - please get involved! Money to captains please!!

It’s our major fundraiser of the year!! Bring all your friends and family along to Tonic in Blackrock on Saturday 27th February for a night at the races!!
We’re making a big push to get lots of people out, so everyone is welcome. And we’re looking forward to seeing how people named their horses…
It will be a great opportunity to celebraate the great results so far this season, with your team and the rest of the club. See you there!!

MUCKROSS 2010
Happy New Year to everyone associated with Muckross Hockey Club!!
It’s time to get out and run off all the Christmas pudding, in pursuit of promotion this spring. A number of Muckross teams are still in the running to move up a division this season, so let’s move on from Christmas presents and find something else to celebrate!
We have a new fitness trainer, so make it part of your New Year’s resolution to get out with your team on Mondays and get into shape.
There are great plans for socialising and fund-raising over the next few months - keep in the picture by email, the website and texts / calls from your team captain. Any ideas or volunteers are greatly welcomed - let us know through your captain, by email or even informally pitch-side.
Pavilion members can contact the Committee for details of upcoming events. Any former members, families or friends of the Club are eligible for Pavilion membership, it’s a great way to stay involved.
And anyone planning skiing this season - please don’t get injured!! We won’t name the former piste-victims…You’re needed on pitch!
